The first step in the correct classification of waste oils and basing the decision for recovery or disposal on scientific grounds is sampling. As Engin Recovery, we meticulously carry out this process in accordance with environmental legislation and analysis standards by our expert personnel.
The categorical classification of waste oils is vital for directing them to the recovery or disposal process in accordance with environmental legislation. The sampling process, which is the first step of this process, is carried out according to the TS 900-1 EN ISO 3170 Petroleum Liquids – Manual Sampling standard to obtain accurate analysis results. As Engin Recovery, we collect clean, homogeneous, and representative samples that will not affect the analysis process from the field with appropriate transportation equipment by our expert personnel. The sampling process is carried out in accordance with the criteria determined by the ‘Waste Oil Management Regulation’ and laboratory standards; all responsibilities and registration processes before analysis are fulfilled completely.
How Does It Work?
Sampling is the most critical step in the waste oil analysis process. As Engin Recovery, we carry out this process from the field to the laboratory with reliable methods that comply with legislation and are recorded.
Upon the request made by the waste oil producer, necessary preliminary information and communication about the waste type are provided. An appointment is made for sampling and preparations are made.
Our competent and trained personnel come to the site with appropriate equipment and take the waste oil sample in accordance with analysis conditions. The sample is collected in a representative and clean manner, without any mixture.
Special labeling is done for the taken sample; company information, waste code, date of collection, and information about the laboratory to be delivered are recorded, documenting the entire process.
The sample is delivered to the Engin Recovery Laboratory for analysis. Here, the analysis process is initiated by evaluating it in terms of chemical content and physical properties.
